A Wellness Advocate is a trained community member who provides mental health support, guidance, and resources. Wellness Advocates are also part of our Community of Practice (CoP)—a network of advocates who collaborate, share knowledge, and support each other to enhance their impact in the community.
Who can become a Wellness Advocate?
Anyone passionate about mental health and community support! Our program is designed for youth, parents, educators, and professionals.
What kind of training will I receive?
You’ll gain skills in mental health awareness, active listening, crisis response, and community wellness through expert-led sessions.
Do you offer direct therapy or counseling services?
No, Taskeen Wellness does not provide direct therapy services. However, we can help connect you to trusted mental health resources. Our mission is to equip parents, youth, and community members with the knowledge and skills to foster mental well being. With long waitlists for professional services, we’re bringing mental health education directly to you—so you can make adifference in your own community.
Is there a certification?
Yes! Upon completing the program, you’ll receive a certification recognizing your training and skills.
